Transformational Diplomacy, while Congressman Donald Payne is considering a Return to Neo Colonialism (HR2003) Threatening US-Ethiopia Relations.

Dr Condy rice is known to be advocating Transformational Diplomacy, while Congressman Donald Payne is considering a Return to Neo Colonialism (HR2003) Threatening US-Ethiopia Relations.
Here we have two African Americans at the height of their carreers and at respectively different ends of political spectrum and leading different wings of US Government at logger heads.
When African American leaders should be advocating for effective prominence of African countries like Kissinger did to his Jewish state of Israel, at it critical time in history, our African American Congressman Payne is puhing towards embarassing the only African Country that has and continues to be the beacon of freedom.
Imagine, how Mandella and the rest of African Freedom fighters will feel when Ethiopia is betrayed by African American Congressman of the character of Donald Payne, who knew the Emperor and had personal conracts with people like Prime Minister Endalkatchew, when Slavery was strill rampant in America and the rest of Africa.
Imagine Conditional Pardonees- Judge "Orange Revolution" and economist the "Dawn of Llight" misleading congress by supporting the Apirl 24, 2007 Terrorist and in effect fabricating stories to undermine the US-Ethiopia relationship with this misguided and preposterous bill. Who is fooling whom?
Imagine, your best ally (Ethiopia) on the war on terror is terrorized by agents of one of its neighbors, and your best ally (the US Congressmen) goest the extra mile to protect the human rights (sic) of the terrorists and threatens you by trying to pass a punitive one sided bill against your national interest. That is your HR2003 as drafted by the US congress now.
Would you say thank you, what a great friend and original author of transformational diplomacy? or will say wait a minute who needs transformation here. Dr Rice help! we need to spend some money to educate US congressmen here!
Mind you that is exactly what Dr Jendayl Fraser and Dr Pham tried to do and Donald Payne was not getting it. There is a much sinister problem and Ethiopia needs to be supported rather than penalized was the mesage, but Donald and collegues will not listen to the real intelligence.
That is exactly what is happening to Ethiopia a country never colonized and in existence for more than five thousand years and USA, a country which was in existence for barely 400 years of which only 220 are in independence (Queen Elizabeth Visit on 07 May 2007 proves this was a British outpost) in the first place.
A congressman of slave ancestory by the name of Donald Payne is trying to tarnish the name, history and dignity of Ethiopians who have never been enslaved, and he thinks they will sympathize with him, (Is he for real?)
The US Congress needs to read intelligence and should not repeat what they did at 9/11 for waht happened at 4/28 at Ogden where over 77 people were terrorized.
Will the US be suprised if its friends never trust it if it continues to behave like this. Imagine the Shah of Iran, Sadam, Bin Laden, Noriega- there were once great friends of USA, and remember how they ended up at last with the US.
Should the US learn that Ethiopia is not Iran, Iraq, Alqaeda or Panama.
May be the parent country, Great Britain will teach a lesson or two to the former slaves of US, who are now abusing their special position as New Jersey Congressmen. The Congressmen are mistaking Ethiopia for Sudan, Eritrea or Somalia. Some geography lesson is needed here.
Ethiopia is the only US and Western ally in the Horn against Terror and should be respected for it and not denigrated with a misguided perorative, punitive and rather undiplomatic bill.
Some one teach the congressmen and 'Conditional Pardonees about good governance, that is transparency and accountability ore it is too late. Our task is to remind the electorates when these guys are ready for election in Addis and New Jersey, then they will learn the supreme lesson of accountability.,
