Professor
Kinfe Abraham is an economist, educationalist, diplomatic and political
historian who holds Graduate and Doctoral Degrees from several European and
US universities. Professor
Kinfe Abraham is also a full bright scholar of MW foundation, an eminent
continental expert of the SIAS on African affairs as well as a designated New
Millennium full bright professor of International relations. |

Described as one
of the leading thinkers of Africa by the Africa world Journal [AWJ ],he is at present the president of the International
Institute for Peace and Development (Ethiopia), but also serves as president of
the HADAD International Lobby and Chief Political Advisor of IGAD. He has previously
served as Director General of Political and Humanitarian Affairs and as Acting
and Deputy Executive Secretary of IGAD.
He
has also chaired and convened several international conferences. On themes of
International and Regional Security and Conflict Management, Economic
Integration and Tran boundary Resources, the Hydropolitics
of the Nile and food security, the Ethio-Arab and Middle Eastern Relations,
NEPAD and the African Union, and figured in the International media including
CNN, the BBC, ITV, ETV, CBS, KBC and the Germen, Canadian, Swedish TV and Radio
Networks.
