The series of bombs that were detonated in
Addis Abeba on Friday was another attempt by forces to undermine
the constitutional order of Ethiopia. These forces, which
are allergic to the progress in Ethiopia, have a stake in
disrupting the current status quos.
Collaborating with Shabia Eritrea these forces are maiming
and killing their own people. They think that these cowardly
acts will dismantle state power and catapult them in to
the driver’s seat. In truth every force in modern
day history which tried this approach ultimately laid down
their arms and negotiated with those they tried to overthrow
(Irish Republic Army, PLO, Tamil Tigers, Nicaragua's Sandinista,
Southern Sudanese and many others). Never
mind the impossible some of these forces in Ethiopia are
those who failed to accomplish the tried and often successful
Orange, Yellow or whatever color Revolution. What makes
them think they can succeed in something which is never
accomplished when they can not succeed in something that
others have managed baffles and boggles the rational mind?
In other words this is a futile and extremely wasteful
exercise. Lives are being sacrificed for no reason at all
other than give Issayas one day to smile about. This cowardly
behavior is a sign of the desperation of not only those
who carried out the act but the brain trust Issayas himself.
His tactics of focusing 100% of his resources on Ethiopia
the past year is an indication that he is using this matter
as a way to cover up the big mess in his own house. Due
to his inability to use his foresight, he is unable to understand
that day of reckoning is unavoidable. Not only will
his mess be exposed but he will also pay dearly for his
irresponsible acts.
The Taliban/Bin Laden for many years conducted terrorist
acts against the USA. The US government for its own reasons
turned a blind eye. This seeming silence emboldened the
terrorists to think they were beyond reach and as a result
conducted the evil act on 911. This was the straw that broke
the camels back. The Taliban is no more and Bin Laden is
hiding like a coward in the mountains of Pakistan. That
will be the fate Issayas and company will meet. Either like
the Taliban no more or like Bin Laden residents of Caves

Those who are collaborating with
Shabia today will pay a heavy price for their crimes. To
think that they will explode bombs in Addis Abeba and not
expect the Wrath of all the forces at the hands of the Government
is ridiculous. All we have to say is that if you have any
involvement at all with the bombings in Addis; Sleep with
one eye open. The bill collector will come knocking and
when he does you will regret the day the thought first came
into your minds to explode those bombs.
Prime Minister Meles, you once said we will speak to them
in a language they understand. We think it is time you start
speaking in that other language! It is time they understand
that what happens in Addis can easily
be replicated in Asmara.
