The real reason the insane Diaspora has become angry at Professor Ephraim is not because he is against HR 2003.

The real reason is because he helped free the CUD leaders from Kaliti in Ethiopia. Yes you read it correctly; they are mad that the CUD Kaliti prisoners got freed & they are mad at the Proffessor for getting them freed.

You may have noticed that the slander against Professor Ephraim was initiated by the newly dissolved CUD leaders in the USA. Angered by their newly diminished role and loss of salary, they have taken out their anger on the poor Professor. Using his known anti HR 2003 position as cover,they created a lie that he was lobbying against the bill.

In truth Professor Ephraim was in Ethiopia during the last year lobbying for the release of their leaders. Anybody with any common sense knows he just returned from Ethiopia. It is virtually impossible for him in such a short time to impact the bill in any matter.

The real reason they are so angry with him is because he worked tirelessly to free the CUD leaders. This sin is what today has made him the target of the hate campaign being directed by the likes of Al Mariam, Berhane Mewa and Andeargatche Tsigie! These Diaspora KIL leaders were profiting by the imprisonment of the CUD leaders. Professor Ephraim ended that welfare check scheme by getting the CUD leaders freed from Kaliti! It is no secret that the CUD leaders in Diaspora were getting paid $5000.00 per month. Ato Andargachew even admitted in a BBC interview that his mode of income was via his role in CUD. No more flying around the world on the backs of the diaspora contributions. No more breakfast in London, Lunch in Paris and dinner DC. It is time to get a real job boys. Vacation is over!
